1. Terms & Conditions:

• Most of the primary equipments (digital cameras, digital camcorders, DSLR, DSLR Lenses, flashes, professional camcorders) purchased from Citiwideonline.com are covered by Citiwide's Door2Door™ Warranty for 12 months. The period of warranty shall be 12 months from the dispatch date.
• The exception of Citiwide's Door2Door™ Warranty are Samsung brand equipment and Waterproof Camera ( please refer to No.2). 
• Samsung camera has its own Samsung International warranty. 
• Only manufacturing defects will be covered by the warranty. Citiwide will then send a courier to your door, pick up the malfunctioning unit, and have it sent back to our office directly. All of this without you paying a cent!*
• The warranty shall be valid only if Citiwide receive your faulty equipments within the period of warranty.Any previous notifications from buyer will become invalid if Citiwide cannot receive it within the warranty period!
• Citiwide shall not be liable for any breach of warranty if the Buyer makes any further use, alters, or repairs to the malfunctioning product without the agreement of the Company.
• The Warranty becomes invalid when the product is sold to third parties. It is only given to the original buyer.
• Citiwide do not provide Door to Door service to customer who located in Remote Area. Customer have to return the equipment by themselves. Citiwide will refund the return postage only if it is proved as manufacturing defect. Click here to find whether your location is remote area.
• The warranty becomes invalid if the serial number of your item does not match with our record or if your serial number has been scratched, peeled off, or disappeared.
• The warranty does not apply to the following:
  - Periodic check up, maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tears.
  - Costs relating to transport, removal, or installation of the product.
  - Misuse, including the failure to use this product for its normal purposes or incorrect installation.
  - Damage caused by shock or fall, sand, dirt, dust, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, lightning, liquid, fire, acts of god, war, public ventilation or any other cause beyond the control of Citiwide Online.
• For non-repairable equipment, Citiwide shall not compensate the Warranty Holder with 100% of the original purchase price. Please consider with the rate of depreciation. 
• Citiwide only offers its international warranties to primary equipment (ie. digital cameras, DSLR, digital camcorders etc.), lenses and flashes. All other items may cover by their own manufacturer warranty. Please see the documentation that came along with their packages. • Door to Door Service is only available to our Australian Customers. If you are a shopper from a different country, please email us for a revised warranty policy.
• Door2Door™ is a trademark of Citiwide-online.com.
• In the event of a dispute, Citiwide reserves the right to the final outcome.

2. Waterproof Camera & Camcorders

• Waterproof cameras & camcorders are excluded from Citiwide's 12 months Door to Door Warranty
• They are covered by Citiwide Warranty for one year only. Buyer needs to return the faulty camera back to our office and the postage reimbursement will be given.
• Waterproof cameras & camcorders are included:
  - Canon PowerShot D10
  - Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1/FT1, TS2/FT2
  - Pentax Optio W60, W80, WS80
  - Olympus Stylus Mju850, Mju550, Mju6000, Mju8000, Mju8010, X560
  - Sony CyberShot TX5
  - Sanyo Xactic CA8, CA9, WH1
  

• Damage caused by improper use, impact, exceeding recommended depths would void the Warranty.
• Citiwide Online will not be liable for any damage on any other items used in conjunction with the product. 
• Citiwide Online will send the faulty camera to the manfacturer for having a waterproof test. Buyer is required to responsible for the repair fee if the test is passed.
  

3. Make a Claim

    If you deem yourself eligible for a warranty claim, please follow the following steps.

• Send an email to returns@citiwide-online.com clearly stating the malfunction, your identity (customer account information), and date of purchase.
• You will be asked to fill out and email back a warranty claim form. 
• Once the information provided is confirmed, Citiwide will then send a courier to your door, pick up the malfunctioning unit, and have it sent back to our office directly. All of this without you paying a cent!*
• Once the malfunctioning unit is back in our office, a specialist technician will examine the validity of the claim and determine if it is a manufacturer fault. 
• If it is confirmed that it is the manufacturing fault, it will be fixed and sent back completely free of charge! This is our industry leading warranty policy, and a testament of our commitment to excellence in customer service. *
  -or-
• If the defect is not deemed to be warrantable (including but not exclusive to, damage from ill-usage, incorrect storage, usage wear and tears, etc.), you will be contacted with the cause of malfunction, repair cost, and the return shipping cost. You then will have the following options:
  (a) We can send the malfunctioning unit back to you unrepaired, where you only have pay for the shipping cost to and fro.
  -or-
  (b) We can repair it for you based on the cost of repair. It will then be sent back where you will have to pay for the repair cost and the shipping cost to and fro.
• Please give Citiwide a reasonable time for inspection of the damaged product to determine the malfunction.
  

4. Extended Door2Door Warranty

• We offer extend warranty for most of primary equipments in our store. 
• If you purchase extended warranty, your Door2Door warranty will be extended to the total amount of time (original 1 year + extended amount of time). The extended warranty will not take effect UNTIL the first year of free warranty expires, and the extended warranty will start immediately after. In any effect, only one warranty will be honored for a single warrantable item at any time.

5. Attention:

• Citiwide offer 6 months Extended Warranty from 1st April 2010 to 31st August 2010. Thus, the warranty period becomes to 18 months!
